~Autumnal Equinox~

"Leaves fall,
the days grow cold.
The Goddess pulls her mantle of Earth around Her
as You, O Great Sun God, sail toward the West
to the land of eternal enchantment,
wrapped in the coolness of night.
Fruits ripen,
seeds drip,
the hours of day and night are balanced."

  1. I love to see the trees change colour at this time of year, and one of these years i'm hoping to visit New England for some leaf peeping! We've just sent off our passports for renewal, so that is one step nearer I suppose! :o) xx

  2. My favourite magazines, an adorable pumpkin bear, gorgeous sedum, blue skies...no wonder I love this time of year:-) I've just come back from having coffee at Timmies with June and it's just beautiful out there. Blue skies and 18c, what more can you ask for on the first day of Fall:-) xoxo

  4. We just had our first 'real' day of Autumn... mild weather, wind blowing, leaves and hickory nuts falling.
    Your Autumn Joy is lovely!

  5. I think it could be safely said "ready or not here I come". We have had very little summer, but autumn seems to be upon us. I am hoping for Indian Summer.
